WATS system implementation – organizational details
On October 5, 2026, the Warsaw Stock Exchange will launch a new trading system WATS (Warsaw Automated Trading System), which will replace the current UTP system.
Due to the migration, it will be necessary to temporarily suspend the acceptance of orders in the DoAkcji2.0 system. During the migration process, DoAkcji2.0 may also be temporarily unavailable.
Key dates
Friday, October 2, 2026
From 5:05 PM , the ability to place new orders in DoAkcji2.0 will be temporarily disabled.
After the trading session ends, all active orders that have not been executed will be cancelled due to the WSE's transition from the UTP system to WATS. These orders will not be automatically transferred to the new system.
Saturday–Sunday, October 3–4, 2026
The WSE will carry out the migration to the new WATS system.
Monday, October 5, 2026
From 6:00 AM , we will re-enable the ability to place orders in DoAkcji2.0.
Orders placed before 08:01 will be accepted by DoAkcji2.0 and forwarded to the WSE starting at 08:01.
What should the client do?
If an order placed before the migration is not executed by the end of the trading session on October 2nd and you still wish to maintain it, you must place it again after the WATS launch.
This also applies to orders with an expiration date beyond October 2nd — they will not be automatically recreated in the new system.
WSE Resolution regarding the cancellation of brokerage orders
Why do orders need to be placed again?
WATS is the new WSE trading system, replacing the current UTP system. As part of the migration, active orders in the current system are not transferred to WATS. Similar rules apply to clients of other brokerage houses operating on the WSE.
Please take these deadlines into account when planning your orders.
