Alicja Kornasiewicz, Senior Partner at Trigon, joined the company in 2022. She has been involved in the capital markets since their inception. Previously, she held a role responsible for the Polish and Central and Eastern European markets at Morgan Stanley in Warsaw. She also served on the Management Board of Pekao S.A. and worked at UniCredit CAIB AG in Vienna and UniCredit CAIB in Poland. Additionally, she was a member of the Executive Committee of Markets and Investment Banking at UniCredit Group, overseeing markets in Eastern Europe and Poland. Throughout her career, she has also been associated with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of Poland.

She also has extensive experience in public service. From 1989 to 1991, she was a member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm), where she worked on the first law on the Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission and supported the introduction of companies to the Warsaw Stock Exchange starting in 1993. From 1997 to 2000, she served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Treasury in Jerzy Buzek's government, where she was responsible for the development of the capital market in Poland. She was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by President Bronisław Komorowski for her contributions to the country's economic development.

In 2007, she was recognized as the most influential, consistent, and determined woman in Polish business. She has been consistently ranked among the most influential figures in business. She works to promote equal opportunities for women in business, both in Poland and abroad, serving as a mentor to young women starting their professional careers.

An expert in investment banking, capital markets, and privatization, Alicja Kornasiewicz is the author of numerous publications and papers presented at international conferences. Her book "Venture Capital in Developed Countries and in Poland" was recognized as the first comprehensive analysis of this subject in Polish economic literature.

Alicja Kornasiewicz holds a Ph.D. in Economics, is a graduate of Harvard Business School in Boston, and completed the Executive Management Programme at INSEAD in Paris. She is also a certified auditor and the first representative from Central and Eastern Europe at the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation. She has also served as a member of the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission.
