WATS — new trading system on the WSE launches on 10 November

On November 10, 2025, the Warsaw Stock Exchange will launch a new trading system — WATS (Warsaw Automated Trading System). It will replace the existing UTP system, offering greater bandwidth and more efficient, safe and flexible operation of the market.

Trigon has been intensively preparing for the implementation of WATS for two years. For most investors, this change will be imperceptible and technologically neutral.

However, it is worth paying attention to the changes regarding PKC and PCR orders. In the new system, if they are not executed immediately, they will no longer remain in the order sheet. In addition, they will have to have special markings.

According to the WSE, the new rules are intended to help reduce the number of market balancing.
